Fayetteville Academy’s Middle Upper Library

Middle and Upper School Students have their own library space on the second floor. Comfortable sofas and chairs have terrific views of the campus and make for great study--or napping!-- space.

Computers and laser printers are available for student use, and a new router allows students to bring laptops for WiFi use.

An expanded fiction section offers students popular selections from the best in contemporary young adult novels.

A large reference and nonfiction section is continually updated to help with student research assignments.

Welcome to the Lower School Library!

The Pre-K through fifth grade students at the Fayetteville Academy have their own Library.

The Everybody section has a carpet with great shapes and colors--and a comfy rocking chair where Mrs. Kizer sits to read to the younger children. Clifford, Max, the Cat in the Hat and others smile down from the walls.

Travel under the giant tree and past the crocodile and you enter the world of Fiction! Here bright green tables--and thousands of books-- are guarded by a dragon! Blue loveseats, a red carpet, and gobs of stuffed animals invite students to settle in to read And there is something for everyone, from the Magic Tree House, Mr. Putter and Tabby, Junie B and Droon, to Gregor the Overlander, Pendragon, Dear America and Candy Apple.

Head toward the solar system to discover computers, reference and nonfiction selections and a great big red couch and space rug perfect for making new discoveries!
