2013 Summer Reading List and Guides for grades 6 - 12
Congratulations to the Yearbook staff and Mrs. Martin on receiving the National Yearbook Program of Excellence Award from Josten's for two years in a row. There are a limited number of extra yearbooks for sale. They will be $85.00 and will go on sale, on a first come, first served basis, at 8:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 23 in Mrs. Martin’s classroom.
Congratulations! to the Marshals who will assist at graduation and continue to serve through 2013-2014: Chief Marshal – Rachel Buchanan. In alphabetical order: Robert Bullard, Andrew Distell, Gayane Paravyan, Halee Simpson, and Taylor Sharpsten. These students currently have the highest averages in the junior class.

As I did at the Academy, I am also enjoying the opportunities presented to me at Duke. At the Academy, I was able to take two math classes and two science classes at the same time. As a senior, my schedule consisted of five Advanced Placement courses. In hindsight, I am glad I loaded up on math/science and AP courses. I am currently a pre-med and Arabic double major. The past four years provided me with a solid foundation from which I can build and realize my full potential. I attribute much of my academic success to Fayetteville Academy.
