Gifts of Cash/Checks
You can make a cash gift to The Fayetteville Academy by delivering it to the Development Office.  If you are making your donation by check, please make it payable to The Fayetteville Academy and designate the purpose for which you would like your contribution used.  Please return donations with a pledge card if you have one.

Credit Cards
Gifts can be charged to your VISA or Mastercard credit cards.  You may return your pledge card with the appropriate credit card information included or contact the Development Office for assistance.

Gifts-in-Kind
Some supporters prefer to donate gifts-in-kind, such as computers, athletic uniforms, or landscaping.  These gifts are sincerely appreciated and greatly enhance our school.

Gifts of Stock
The Fayetteville Academy gladly accepts gifts of stock.  Your broker should contact the Head of School to discuss the specific stock and for instructions on transferring securities to the school.

Real Estate or Personal Property
Donors can make a gift of property in the form of real estate or tangible personal property such as art or antiques.  Please consult with the Head of School before making a gift of property to ensure the gift meets the school’s needs.

Planned Giving
In addition to supporting the Annual Fund, donors may include The Fayetteville Academy in their estate planning to ensure the long term health and well being of the school.  The donor will decide on a gift for the school now, and the school will benefit from the gift in the future.  Donors should contact the Head of School to discuss including the Academy in their estate plans. 

Bequests
One method of planned giving is through a bequest.  The donor names The Fayetteville Academy as a beneficiary in his or her will.  A specific amount of the estate can be established by the donor to bequeath to the school or the donor can designate a percentage of the remainder of the estate upon fulfillment of all specific bequests.
           
Life Insurance
Donors can make The Fayetteville Academy the beneficiary of a life insurance policy.  This could be a significant gift to the school.  There are several ways to take advantage of tax deductions by naming the Academy the beneficiary and/or owner of the policy.  For more information on the advantages of such a gift, contact your insurance agent or the Head of School.
