Clarification and REsponse to August 16 Fayetteville Observer Article
August 19, 2011
Dear Fayetteville Academy Family,
Thank you all for the support and outreach to the faculty and staff of The Fayetteville Academy in response to the article published in the Fayetteville Observer on Tuesday August 16th.
We believe that the community, as well as Fayetteville Academy family deserved to set the record straight, as there were many inaccurate statements and unsubstantiated facts printed in the article that tarnished the reputation of our Academy and our respected headmaster, Rick Cameron.
Attached you will find the documentation we have shared with the Observer editor and reporter who published the article, to support the Academy's position and correct the incongruities. READ HERE.
Thank you again for your support, and we look forward to another successful school year. Our primary goal as always is to encourage students to achieve their full potential by offering exceptional opportunities in academics, fine arts, and athletics through an emphasis on scholarship, honor, leadership, and citizenship.
Sincerely,
Benjamin Goetz
Chairman of the Board of Trustees
The Fayetteville Academy
