The Academy’s mission is to offer our students exceptional opportunities in academics, arts, and athletics.  With respect to athletics, the Academy has enjoyed a rich tradition of success.  The following points highlight the opportunities that our students have within the athletic program:

• approximately 80% of the upper school students participate in at least one sport
• 25 teams compete in 15 different sports
• most teams do not cut players

To enhance the wonderful opportunities that our students have by participating in athletic programs, our varsity teams consistently compete for conference and state championships despite being one of the smallest 2-A schools in the state.

• During the past decade, the Academy has won 35 conference championships and 19 state championships
• The Academy has won at least one team state championship each year since 1996.
• Over half of our varsity coaches have won a state championship in the sport they are currently coaching within the past decade.
