The Fayetteville Academy tuition covers only a portion of the cost of educating our students. We make every feasible effort to assure that The Fayetteville Academy is affordable to all qualified applicants. The Fayetteville Academy strives to help families afford the best education for their children through payment options and through our tuition assistance program. - Financial Aid: Limited financial aid is available to qualified families in an effort to make an Academy education affordable for all qualified students. Financial aid guidelines and information are available on this website or may be obtained directly from the Admissions Office. Financial aid may be applied for upon a student’s eligibility to enroll.
- Testing Fees: A testing fee must be remitted at the time formal application is made. For applicants in Pre-K through Grade 3, the required assessment is administered by a licensed psychologist with whom the school contracts. The fee for the assessment is $100.00. The Educational Records Bureau - Comprehensive Testing Program is given to applicants for Grades 4-12. The fee for the ERB-CTP is $50.00.
- Facility Fee: A facility fee is required for each child enrolled in Grades PreK-12. The fee applies to child(ren) enrolled and should be paid at $375 per year per child for each year of enrollment at The Fayetteville Academy. The facility fee rate of $375 applies to all new students and those who may be enrolling after an absence of one year or more.
- Tuition Deposit: A nonrefundable $500.00 fee is required upon an offer of enrollment to reserve a place in the grade and is applied toward the total tuition.
- Methods of Payment:
- Plan I : Payment in Eleven (11) Equal Installments: Tuition minus $500 deposit plus $375 facility fee plus other applicable fees divided by 11 months equals monthly payment.
- $500 deposit due with signed contract
- Payments due on the first of each month starting in July
- $100 handling charge
- $100 lower school textbook/expendable fee (Pre-K-5th)
- Plan II : Payment in Three (3) Equal Installments: Tuition minus $500 deposit plus $375 facility fee plus other applicable fees divided by three payments equals each payment.
$500 deposit due with signed contract Payment of remaining balance in three equal installments due on the first day of August, November and February $100 lower school textbook/expendable fee (Pre-K-5th)
- Plan III : Annual Payment: Tuition minus $500 deposit plus $375 facility fee plus other applicable fees equals payment due (1.5% may be deducted from tuition if payment is made by August 1).
- $500 deposit due with signed contract
- Full payment of remaining balance prior to August 1, 2010 minus a 1.5% discount
- $100 lower school textbook/expendable fee (Pre-K-5th)
- Textbooks/Workbooks: Tuition does not cover all textbooks/workbooks in Grades Pre-K through 5. There is a lower school textbook/expendable fee of $100 per student for the year. This fee will be billed according to the selected payment plan. Students in Grades 6-12 are required to purchase their textbooks/workbooks.
- Late Registration: Tuition for late registrants will be prorated.
- Tuition Insurance: Tuition insurance is available and recommended, for all students whose tuition is paid on the annual, three payments or monthly plans. Tuition insurance is required, however, for all new families entering a child at the Academy for the first time (this includes students who may be enrolling after an absence of one year or more) and whose parents do not pay the full tuition by the opening day of school.
- Accident Insurance: Student Accident Insurance is available and recommended, but is not required. If selected, payment is due with the first tuition payment.
- Daycare Options: The Academy offers both before- and after-school care programs for students in grades PreK-5 and Library Study/After School Program for students in grades 6-8. Before-school hours are from 7:00-8:15 a.m., $395 annual fee. After-school and Library Study/After School Program hours are from 3:00-5:30 p.m., $785 annual fee. Since space is limited, the daycare program enrollment request will be considered on the basis of date of receipt of the enrollment contract and deposit. Daycare fees will be billed according to the payment plan selected.
