Admissions decisions are based on the following criteria:

1. Applicants must demonstrate the potential to achieve academic success as determined by entrance testing, previous transcripts/grades, required classroom observation visits (for applicants to grades Pre-K – 5), and recommendations from the most recent math and English teachers from the most recent school of attendance. Further, they should demonstrate a desire and potential to contribute to the school community.
2. Factors to be considered for all applications shall be according to the following guidelines:
   1. Applicant’s academic strength
   2. Applicant’s history of good citizenship and desire to achieve and contribute to The Fayetteville Academy
   3. A sibling currently enrolled in the Academy
   4. A child who is a legacy
   5. Date of completion of the admissions process
3. In the event a waiting list develops for a particular grade, that status terminates in January, after first semester. For admission in a subsequent year, the application process must be renewed.
4. Enrollment contracts are issued upon a student’s successful completion of the entire admissions process and notification of acceptance. Once the signed contract and a tuition deposit are returned to the Academy, the student is officially enrolled. A full explanation of the tuition deposit is described in the Tuition and Fees Schedule.
