Boys soccer defeats westchester country day school 2-0.  will play for state championship saturday!

The number One ranked Fayetteville Academy Boys Soccer team defeated a talented Westchester Country Day School squad 2-0 this afternoon in front of a huge home crowd at the Jordan Soccer Field on the Campus of Fayetteville Academy.  The Eagles scored first off a corner kick from a close strike by William Schaefer.  After 40 minutes of play the Eagles were up 1-0.  Midway through the second half the game was put on ice from a bending shot over the fingertips of the WCDS goalkeeper from Senior Hunter Bigler. 

The state championship match will kick-off at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29th at the Jordan Soccer Field on the campus of Fayetteville Academy.  Adult admission is $7, students are $5 and children under 8 are free.
